our little angel

ella was an angel in the 2nd grade christmas play.
they put on the story of the birth of jesus.
it brought me to tears several times, these kids are just so sweet.

what was especially tearjerking was when the teacher spoke before it started.
she said how the kids only had a few days to get ready.
and many times the teachers looked at each other and asked, 'why are we doing this?'.
their answer:
'so that we will all be reminded of the true meaning of christmas.
and for our wonderful parents, it is our gift to them.
we want to thank them for their wonderful children and all they do.'
the teachers are always so complimentary of the parents and thus the children.
it is really meaningful to hear how good and kind our children are.

it was a beautiful program.
and i am always so touched by all the things i see the kids doing at the school.
i pretty much cry at everything i attend at their school.
they do such an amazing job - both the school and the kids.
and the teachers and principal care so much about all the students, it's so touching.
i feel so blessed to have them in such an amazing environment every day.
